Shipping Information

We aim to dispatch all orders within 2 to 3 business days of your purchase. Orders are shipped Monday through Friday and will be handed over to our trusted shipping partners: DHL / Deutsche Post or selected Express couriers. You will receive an email notification if there are any delays in processing or delivery.

Important Note on Summer Shipping:
During the summer months, shipping may be temporarily restricted when temperatures exceed 24°C, in order to maintain product quality. For more details, please click here to learn about our summer shipping policy.

Shipping Costs:
Our weight-based shipping charges will be calculated and displayed before checkout.

All products are shipped from Germany.

EU-Delivery:

We currently ship to 26 countries in the European Union: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark (except Färöer, Greenland), Estonia, Finland (except Åland), France (except overseas territories), Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy (except Campione d’Italia, Livigno, San Marino, Vatican City), Latvia,  Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands (except overseas territories), Poland, Portugal (except the Azores, Madeira), Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain (except Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla) and Sweden.

National Delivery:

A flat rate applies for deliveries in Germany.

International Delivery:

We would like the whole world to enjoy our exquisite range of products and therefore we offer a Standard, Premium or Express delivery service to United Kingdom and Northern Ireland (except overseas territories), Guernsey, Jersey, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, USA, Canada and Japan. Express shipping service is used for deliveries to Bermuda, Mexico, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. Premium or Express shipping is utilized for shipments to Israel, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand. For deliveries to any other destination, please contact us for a quotation.

Express Delivery:

We are happy to assist you with Premium or Express delivery options, if you need your order urgently. Please contact us for details.

Insurance, Claims Or Refunds:

Once a package has been handed over to the shipping carrier, it is in the care of the postal service. Chocolate & More Delights will provide you with tracking information, but we are not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen packages.

All Standard, Premium, and Express shipping options include insurance. In the event of damage or loss, you may:

  • File a claim with your local post office.
  • An investigation will also be initiated with our local postal service in Germany.

Refunds, if applicable, will be issued as store credit for the product(s) ordered. Shipping costs are non-refundable if the package was successfully delivered.

Please double-check your shipping details at checkout. Packages that cannot be delivered due to incorrect address information are:

  • Not insured.
  • Not eligible for a refund.

Taxes & Duties:

International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees upon arrival, depending on the regulations of your country. These charges vary by destination and are based on the value of the goods and local laws.

All customs and duty fees are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are not included in the product or shipping price and are not controlled by Chocolate & More Delights. Fees are determined by your country’s local customs authority and may differ significantly from one region to another. Customers are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the customs regulations and potential charges applicable in their country before placing an order.

Chocolate & More Delights does not cover or reimburse any customs or import fees. Customers are encouraged to familiarize themselves with local import regulations and charges before placing an order. If a package is returned due to unpaid customs or duties, the following applies:

  • The customer is responsible for any return shipping costs.
  • No refunds will be issued for refused or unclaimed packages.

Providing accurate shipping details and understanding your country’s import policies helps ensure a smooth international delivery.

Transit Times:

Delivery times vary depending on your destination. The delivery times within Europe are approximately 3 to 10 working days. Allow 10 to 18 working days for deliveries to the USA and Canada, plus a maximum of 12 days for customs inspection, if applicable. Deliveries to the Middle East and Asia may take 8 to 14 working days. Small parcels are sent via Priority Mail with an average delivery time of 3 to 10 working days worldwide. The shipping time frame provided for each destination is an estimate only. Once we have posted your package, we have no control over how long it actually takes to be delivered. 

Returns:

Due to the nature of our products we follow strictly a no-returns policy. All sales are final unless there is something wrong with your order from our side.

Legal Notice:

Before placing an order, we strongly advise all customers to verify whether the products are permitted for import into their destination country. The purchaser assumes full responsibility for ensuring that the items ordered comply with local import regulations. Chocolate & More Delights will fulfill all received orders, but the delivery responsibility lies with the purchaser.

If a product is restricted or held by customs, it is the customer's duty to:

  • Provide any requested documentation or information to the customs authority.
  • Cover any costs associated with customs inspections or investigations. 
  • No refunds or store credits will be issued for unsuccessful deliveries due to import restrictions.
  • Chocolate & More Delights will not be held liable for delays, holds, or confiscations due to prohibited items.
